Jim and Pat's house in Washington
Lots of good memories from Jim and Pat's House in Washington. They had a hill in the backyard that we would roll down, we loved rolling down Hills and theirs was a good one, except the grass was very thick and really itchy so it wasn't a good Hill to roll down. After all, the neighbor had a jungle gym. Gym! It was so fun to climb on. There's a school yard down a few blocks that was fun to play at, it was just down the road from patki's dairy, sometimes grandma would buy us a container of soft serve ice cream and freeze it, and then we would eat it and it was the best, when you came in the front door there was a sitting room to the right with some fancy furniture, that's where they would put up their Christmas tree, when we would visit. There was a shiny ball that made a sound from the inside that sounded like a bird, I would look inside that ball and search for that bird but couldn't find it. I wanted to open up that thing so bad and I think I eventually did but no bird. Just some electronics eh, and she had some kind of piano synthesizer thing that nobody really played, when you went a little further into the house you ran into the kitchen to the right was the den to the left and upstairs to their bedroom, and don't remember going into bedrooms. At all, I can't remember where the bathroom was strangely, in the backyard was a little concrete patio, I don't remember there being anything fancy to it, I don't remember any sitting room in the backyard, thinking about the house now. Must have been so small, but when I was a kid it seems big, probably the best memory was watching Star wars, it must have been playing on HBO or something, I sat around with Eric and Dana and watch that movie and it felt like magic, later they moved to the house on rabbit trail, it was an exciting move
