Martha and Dan get COVID

 Around May 15th or 16th my parents tested positive for COVID.  It knocked mom down pretty bad.  She was feeling very weak and her throat hurt her really bad.  Dad did not get affected as much and he was just feeling a little more tired.  It affected mom for several days, probably a good 4 or 5 days.   They had not gotten the 2nd booster shot, which they would have been able to get but did not, for whatever reason.  COVID doesn't travel to Gerald, MO... until is does! I haven't heard how they are doing now, except that they were at the house in Leslie today and the business was open.  They must have been up and able enough to be at least somewhat back to their usual routine.   I will all tomorrow and see how they are.  

50th anniversary - Branson Trip

 All of the family will be getting together next week from Sunday, June 5th to Friday, June 10th in  Branson, Missouri.  This trip has been over a year and a half in the making.  To have all of the family together it has taken a lot of planning but it's actually going to happen.   Activities will include a family photo, boating and skiing on tablerock lake, staying in a georgous cabin a few minutes from the water, going to Silver Dollar City, and just hanging out together at the cabin with family.  I couldn't ask for a better vacation. My hope is that the time with the family will be meaningful and enjoyable.  I also hope that frustrations can be aired and there won't be too much conflict to deal with.  We will only be together for a few days and should have plenty of activities to keep us busy, so frustrations can be avoided with busyness.   Aside from those worries, I am truly looking forward to time with the relatives and just sp...
